Beirut's explosion is just like the previous ones: the muslim population targetting the christian population (or a member of the christian population) just like the previous civil war. While Sharm El Sheikh is, just like a few months ago near the dead sea, a warning from terrorists to egypt about abandoning their muslim roots. To terrorists Sharm El Sheikh - with it's decadent nightlife and it's abundance of Israeli tourists - is just an excellent target... just like the dead sea resorts. The US has nothing to do with these attacks, and even if they did that doesn't in the least bit justify these attacks. |
is this what world war three is going to be? a long period of terrorist bombing civilians in different countrys for different reosens?

What do you mean, "Not Egypt, too"? Egypt's been the site of many bomb blasts over the last several decades. Mubarak's iron-fist dictatorial rule may be okay with our leaders because he's known as a "moderate" in the West, but back at home he's heavily disliked by both genuine moderates and extreme Muslims, alike. This bomb blast doesn't differ from a pattern that been going on for some time, there. Not everything in the world should be seen only in the reflection of 9/11 or the London subway bombings.

The USA has nothing to do with the bombings in Egypt.
Egypt is a dictatorship with an behind for "president". It is also a big country with a population wanting more freedom. Not to mention decades of bombings such as this one. One of the reasons I am not even dreaming of going to Egypt any time soon. |

Yes, as in Algeria... In the long run it might be prudent to hope for that. Look at Iran, it is only a matter of time before the people get rid of that government. And Iran though till Taliban controlled Afghanistan, was/is the most hard line and islamist of them all :-p still allowed more freedoms for other religions than other countries in the region. Even if I do not count Saudi Arabia. The thing is the harder and longer we support dictatorships against the wishes of the people there, the worse things are made for the people there and the consequences of a new and perhaps extremist government. I say let them rule their own countries, and if they want war, *meep* them. |

Yeah. Same with Isreal, they're going to get annihilated by the Syrians pretty soon.
And let's not even start on Lebanon. |

In 2003 Israeli Jets destroyed a IJ training camp near Damascus, they flew over Damascus and the Syrians didn't even have a clue. Trust me, the only way Syria has dared to fight Israel for the last decade is by using their Hizbull'ah pawns. |
Two famous Hungarian radio-personalties were in Sharm el-Sheikh ca. 3 weeks ago. There was a contest in the radio, and the winners (30 of them) would go on a holiday for two weeks in Sharm el-Sheikh with the two radio guys. I wonder what've happen it the blasts occure back then :omg:
