Just a small note for others: Ram is in MB, and it has to be caps!

considering upgrading? I have been looking for memory for my older Sony Vaio..but it might be easier to just get a new box and riggings from Dell..Though I hate going through dell, just on principle. :)

Well, unless your computer has RAM measured in millibits, which seems a little unlikely!

That's only one of my computer that I used that day and it's just upgraded (from 16MB :)). Enough for Win98 to run (P166 MHz). ;)

The one I am using right now has 128MB PC100. Other two that I frequently use have 512MB, while I have to upgrade my server (only 256MB). Right now it works fine, as it works only as file server at the moment (Win03 Server) and it's mostly turned off.

Dell has really nice computers, and I might as well just get an dell later. Just to tired to setup computer by my self, and dell got components much cheaper then I can get them.

i think for winxp, 386 of sdram is better than just 256 of ddr.
