What are the other (if any) executables or bat or com files in the folder?
|
the only 3 executables in the folder are Power.exe Setup.exe and TSetup.exe
|
You have tried running setup first, right? If so, what does it look like? Is it the same kind of setup of other old DOS games?
|
The strange thing is that this game doesn't appear in Dosbox site.
Edit: Mobygames lists it as a DOS game. |
i get the same message trying to run all 3 executables, it tells me that it requires microsoft windows.
Im begining to hate bill gates more and more everytime i hear the name "Windows" :sniper: --> Bill |
This game is very obscure. It flopped almost immediatly. I think it was released before its time. Id like to see a remake with a better AI engine and some good 3d graphics. This concept has potential. It doesnt suprise me that it isnt on the dosbox site, nor on any other emulation site ive been to. Most people havent ever heard of nor seen this game.

the only thing you can try is to install Windows 98 in another partition, but in this case you ave to format the PC. Decide what to do. |
I tried to run the game on Windows XP Home Edition SP1 (power.exe) and it told me to set colors to 256.
So I told it to run at 256 colors in the compability tab and it worked just fine. The Desktop flickers a bit at the intro, but the game seems to run quite OK (Music is WAY too loud though). You can also try to set the colours to 256 at this Screen property window thingy (don't know it's english name, but you know, that window were you also can set up you screensaver and desktop background and stuff) If you tried that already, then I don't know any other solution either :/ |
If you're running xp, be sure to have the service packs installed. I seem to remember that the compatability didn't work properly before sp1.
|
After downloading service pack 1a for windows i get the following error message while trying to run the game.
16 bit Windows Subsystem C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXE.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. any ideas to what i should do now? |
