This game is absolutly quality, used to play it for days at a time.

TIP: if your having trouble with a particular map, try restarting a picking a different map placement because, as said above, some map tiles have far more technologies available then others. (On the harder maps, these are usually the ones taken by the computer before you can pick them).

hello
i have a problem with the game

the game stops (dosbox closed themself) if a resaerch is finished...

is there a special config needed for the dosbox?
i think after research is finish a splitscreen/video have to appeare and this kick the dosbox :?

excuse the bad english please, iam no native speacker (me is german) ;)

Is the sound configuration correct? A wrong IRQ setting may result in such sudden crashes.

how can i check this?

the dosbox.conf says:
type=sb1
base=220
irq=7
dma=1
hdma=5
mixer=true
oplmode=auto
oplrate=22050


the game-option is seting to PC-Speacker


my system is a
HP-Laptop with Linux (Ubuntu)
