The absolute best way (in my opinion) to kill things is just straight up pistol. If you pour all of your mods into one pistol, you wont need any other gun. You can take out most anything with a single shot to the head.

That's what I love so much about Deus Ex, you can play it anyway you desire, be stealthy, go on a killing rampage, pick and choose your battles, hack the computers or find out the usernames and passwords, it's so fun doing different stuff every time I play. :ok:

Aah man, I hate all of you guys ... why did you have to bring up Deus Ex.
Sadly I have never completed the game. Now you guys had to go and mention it and now I am going to have to install it again and actually complete it. Why are you doing this to me? Sigh ... I am going to be installing it for the 3rd time now. I am not a huge fan of FPS, actually they rank right at the bottom of my list, just below barbie type games (multiplayer FPS are a totally different matter), and although Deus Ex is not strictly a FPS, the whole holding a gun from the first person view really has a negative affect on me. I hear so many great things about this game that I am willing to put my dislike of FPS away (I know Deus Ex is a Hybrid Game, but it has that annoying FPS view) Many rank it among their top 5 greatest games ever. So what do you guys think ... should I give it another go? You guys think its worth the time playing to the end? (If I remember correctly, the first time I played it, I only went as far as some airport place) |
Long time no post.
Silent run is good for melee characters and especially with combat strenght. But in case you use firearms mainly then I suggest you take the long jump. |
:ok: Yeah try and install the game since you only went as far as the airport place, there is a lot more interesting things you will be running into that will be cool.

I've played through both the PS2 and PC versions of the game and I simply love everything about it.
DX2 was a dissapointment though. |
Yeah I agree Dx 2 just didn't have the charm or feel that Deus Ex had. The way it all went down and everything, didn't feel all that well, such a disappointment.
