LOL, I think shes supposed to be COMI-styled. If she gets crossed, she gets angry. Like the part in Paris where she sucks the life out of a mime who was annoying her.

That alone should make the game worth buying!

Hey, since we're all sad that Lucas Arts doesn't make adventure games anymore and that the new Sam & Max game that has been in developement by another company may not ever see the light of day due to licensing issues.

Well there's still hope for Lucas Art adventure gamer fans. I was surfing and found some references to a new Adventure game created by former Lucas Art employees. The art looks fantastic!

Check out the gallery:

And check out the interview where he talks about Lucas type adventure games and how this game is created by starving, but dedicated artist who love adventure games:

There home page for the company, while just launched is pretty bare at the moment, but you can see a pretty good splash page of thier art.

We already have a topic on it actually. I'll see if I can rustle up the link for you.

EDIT: here it is, off in the off-topic forum. http://www.abandonia.com/forum/index.php?s...2628

Probably could be moved here, this being the logical place for discussion of such things.

Ah cool. Glad someone else mentioned it. Thanks for the heads up on the other thread.

More great news for Lucasarts fans-

Monkey.

Island.

Remake.

DS.

I haven't yet found a totally reliable source (the forum I found it on cites a magazine that I subscribe to, and I haven't seen this article in it), but apparently Lucasarts has Curse of Monkey Island running on Nintendo DS hardware, and is considering remaking Secret of Monkey Island and LeChuck's Revenge with Curse graphics and interface.

Needless to say, the DS' touch screen would be awesomeness itself when it comes to point & clicks, and if they got Dominic Armato to add his voice to the first two MI games... I would be in Adventure heaven.

Meanwhile, on topic- Yeah, I'm looking forward to this one. As a rabid P&C fan, it's nice to see a new classic style game with a sense of humour.

Well, check out this concept art for a bg from AVS. Also, some more storyboards from the game.

Well here's a heavy bump, but the game producers have found a publisher and the game will be released in early 2008.
