Ok I'll try to put the game there, and yeah I have read the readme(lol), but I don't understand the
SRCPATH should point to the BERMUDA\SCN folder so if you installed the
game in c:\bermuda, you need to change it to SCRPATH=C:\BERMUDA\SCN

DSTPATH should point to the BERMUDA folder so if you installed the game
in c:\bermuda, you need to change it to DSTPATH=C:\BERMUDA
:(

hi everybody
i'm a poor osx user and i would like to play this game.

the game-page itself says: 'People who want to play this game but are running Linux or Mac OS X need not dispair. You could just use Dosbox, install Windows 3.1 and play it that way.' and i've tried the process and it works but...

but i have a 'gorgeous' 16 color graphic where everything is pink, white, cyan, yellow and so on... (and no sound)
tried to install win3.1 with superVGA - 256 colors support but win itself doesn't load at all, just the VGA option works (all the other dos games works with superVGA in dosBox why win doesn't??).

so i ask you: anyone knows a way to make it work properly in osx? (or a way to have 256 colors support in dosBox-win3.1?)

thank you (^__^)

You need drivers for the S3 graphics card because that's the one Dosbox emulates. Check over on the Dosbox forum :).

Or, better yet, this CVS build that comes with S3 and ET4000 SVGA support. And various other bits and pieces like a small GUI. :)

Erm how is that helping :p. The problem is that he needs drivers - Windows 3.1 doesn't auto detect like Win 9X ;). And ET4000 support is pretty shaky in Win3.1. Stick to S3.

This will help sort things out with the drivers:

As said by Red, best stick to the S3 drivers.
Works perfectly in dosbox0.72/W3.x

everything done ^_^
installed the graphic drivers and the sound drivers and everything works now, full graphic and full sound

thank you so much

in osx i use a program called Boxer, it create games packages that contain dosBox itself (i suppose) and the program files and so they run just with a double click so i decided to install drivers inside that package instead of the CVS build, and also i haven't find an osx version of the CVS build that AlumiuN suggested, just windows and linux. maybe the linux version also works in osx but i preferred the driver installation method so i can have the double-click-and-run feature provided by Boxer.

thanks again to all of you :)

Oh. Whoops. Sorry. ET4000 support I think is in there to cater to the whim of Ken Silverman, who hard-coded everything for his ET4000 - Ken's Labyrinth map editor advanced features, early Build Engine prototypes, etc., I haven't seen anything else that wouldn't work with a good old S3. :)

Finished the game a couple of weeks ago.

Nice graphics, especially the dino effects and background animations.

The game becomes somewhat boring when you enter the city though.
