oh ok I fixed it. You need the adjust the path in LIONS.CFG to your DOSBox-Path (in my case I had to change it to C:\)

Sorry for the double post but since I'm unregistered I can't edit my own posts :bleh:

Ah, OK. I automatically assume that people don't change directories, so I haven't even tested it for that. Sorry if I seemed a bit rude, but I just get annoyed with people who think everything needs to happen within 3 seconds (even though it seems that this wasn't the case now).

awww...It doesn't work for me :(

Sebatianos 25-06-2007 07:09 AM

Can you be a bit more specific? What doesn't work?

kamiko 25-06-2007 11:12 AM

I'm still getting this "hr_hires.c #1,-1" message

Sebatianos 25-06-2007 02:31 PM

Strange.

Try this:
Download and extract the archive. You'll have the LION folder there. Now put it directly on X: (usually C:, D: or E:) and run dosbox. Now mount C: X:\ (X being the drive you selected). and then cd lion and lion. Should work.

I have no sound and can't find a way to setup it... does anyone else have this problem?

Oh and :birthday: Abandonia (and creators mother ^^)!

Try reading the review again... this archive has no sound (the file would have been way too big).

As I said before...

I just tested it again, it does work, but it's true, that there's a bit longer waiting time before it starts to run (about half a minute) after the selection and the acctual game (with a wildlife picture - because there's no sound it looks like it is frozen, but just give it more time).

So which opening scene do you mean? If it's after the menu when the gameplay should start, just give it a bit more time (and you might try increasing the DOSBox cycles before running the game). If you can't even get to the selection menu then there really might be a problem.
