I used to invite my friends over, then I'd purchase nothing but the Funky Bomb. Everyone got blown up at once, including me.
Massive fun. |
a shareware amiga copy of this game was "scorched tanks".
as for that 3d remake, i tried it and it didnt add anything to the gameplay, it just made it harder to play |

And a hint for the addicts (though I bet they'll know it already): when your opponent uses force shields (the pink ones), shoot under such angle that your projectile bounces onto the shield 3 times. A personal favourite of mine is the laser, if you can get close enough :D |
GAHHHH I dled it, and unzipped the file "scorch.exe" and it says it can't run on my computer. Is this normal????
NOTE: the last time i played this game was in 1995 or so:P LOL so i feel like an idiot because the 5 year old me is more computer-savvy than i am LOL |

"C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\SCORCH.EXE C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." so um, ya, what does that mean?:help: |
how can I get my hands on the real version? is he still selling it?
|
One of the best old school war games ever made...
|
Its saying the exact same thing for me. Wherever I move the program it says that it is not an acceptable source for the file or some such.

If the game does not run on your computer, you maybe should use a DOS-Emu.
I use this one: DosBox 0.63 And it works quite well with all DosGames ;) |
