I guess there's police corruption in every country, and we have it here, too. However, mostly the members of the police force are pretty awesome.

My dad investigates corruption in the upper tiers here in Belgium on a daily basis. Police corruption is rampant. This doesn't mean police-officers are unhelpfull, its just that the heads of police were corrupt as hell taking millions from the city.

The thing here in Lithuania is - police always screw up on any crimes, the law sucks, the people - I dont know for all of them but many are :censored: ican tell you that.

I dont know if its the truth, but its killing me in here. :rifle:

Violence is really the worse way to gain my respect. No way around that one...

Violence gets u respect but only a superficial kind of respect
u get respected co z people are afraid of getting in trouble not more
and someday theyll just pop and give it back to u like the wall of Berlin or MArtin luther king or Spartacus .....

I think that violence would be the answer if we were to be threatened by it (or the easyest way to get cash or respect... :ok: ) :D

I too agree that violence is not the way to gain respect, altthough it gives the bully a break from the others. But as Xcom mentioned - it does come back eventually to you - well, like the saying - what goes around, comes around - and in time, there will be always someone who will be stringer, faster... than you

The violence is quickest way to gain what you want(respect, money, some pretty not very intelligent girls....) but it had also great consequences like punishment by law,or even greater consequences on other side of law...
Some people just dont understand that...

I've been reading a book about the history of the Mafia and I have come to the conclusion that violence is the easiest way to get cash, respect and power but it is not the way to keep it for very long.
