The death is an objective thingy...

I just came from a funeral. A 14 year old girl (a pupil at our school was found dead this Saturday). She froze during the night (-12C). They found her early in the morning, but it was too late.

Any thoughts on that?

They say it was because of forbiden young love.

So she stayed outside with her friend? And what about him?

From the few facts that are certain the whole thing looks like this:

Her parents wouldn't let her see this fellow.
He lives about an hours walk away from her house.
They didn't go to the same school, but they both have scooters (so they often met).
On the night in question (Friday to Saturday) at half past midnight, she actually called her best friend telling her to keep her in good memories.
The next morning at half past six they found her frozen some 500 metres from the house with a half empty bottle of wine.

Everything else are just guesses and stories people are saying, but many of them (including her closest friends) say that the she had some troubles before and even tried to contact the school counceler (but she only visted her once and asked for advice on what to do, because her parents don't let her out).

I could tell you many stories that I've heard over the weekend - all off a sudden it seems that everybody knos all about this girl, but that would just be gosip.

To make the matter worse, the preacher who was giving a speach at the burrial tried to make her seem like a sinner, because she killed her self. It was awful!

May she rest in peace, having a better new life...
I hate such "parents", and believe me, I met enough of them when I was young. As if they lack all sense of understanding. :angry:

Sometimes preachers should forget some medieval rules and try to learn some more about humanity.


This is a real sad story, Seba. And not an isolated fact, such things don't happen that rarely.
There was a girl here in my province (14 years-old) who hung herself because she thought she was going bad at school, thus deceiving her parents.
And another one, couple of years ago, who jumped off the window of the 3rd floor bath of her school because of personal troubles, I went to the funeral because I knew her a bit. I remember the journals writing a load of s**t about her being on drugs during the act. :eeeeeh:

Yeah, don't get me started about the tabloid news reporters.
There were pictures off her laying in the cofin before the funeral (the tradition is, that the person lies in a cofin for at least a day and that people can come at pay their respect). Instead there were a bunch of reporters there taking pictures of parents crying and the girl laying dead...
I hate such things.

Would I be there, I would go up to her parents and disgrace them before the eyes of all! :angry:
Why it is allowed for such people to have children, is a mystery for me. <_<
