Codes and tips
I've been playing this for a week now. As far as I understand, you don't get codes at the end of a level. There are just the generic codes at the bottom of the password page. I think the reviewer mentioned that you have to play through from the start of each world.
TIPS FOR THE GAME (that I didn't see mentioned elsewhere) When on a ladder with an enemy below, don't forget you can drop axes/bombs or whatever they are; just go down but not so far down the baddies can touch you, then left or right cursor while pressing space. Also, those 'snake pots'. You stand there, a snake rises and starts firing at you. You duck, keep firing and all these little snakes come out. It seems the best idea is to start firing before the snake rises as then it doesn't get a chance to fire at you. Nope. If you wait and let it rise, then duck and fire until it explodes, when it does, the little snakes that come out are in one batch and easier to jump if you're in a confined space. Otherwise, they will be a stray snake that moves out of tandem and you always forget about. |
Good title, jumping & switching are painfull in the beginning. I remeber playing this on old Pentium 133 with my friend looong back, good times.

This game rules, the graphics at the time were fantastic!
I played this so hard - when I was about 7 - I ended up breaking my space bar! also this game had pretty awesome bosses(guardians) |
This game was very fantastic and I spend a lot of time learning the tricks. From so much playing, I could get to the final Boss without losing much energy.
But... years later, I kind of unlearned to play and the game seems more difficult than at that time. Am I rusty? :p One thing I disliked about this game was the possibility that you were in a dead end. How? With the blessed and mighty axe that could go through walls, but could not destroy the walls with cracks. So you would need mace to destroy them. I think maybe it is the second or third stage of the game. |
