When "the hand" attacks you is there any way of killing it after you're already attacked or do you just have to prevent it from attacking you?

The hand is the most annoying enemy and the dog that lights you on fire is second.

hi! i've got two questions...hope that u give me some answers:)
1. i downloaded the game and i wanted to set the soundblaster...but it doesn't
work. i can only choose "no sound" and the game is then unplayable...so can u
give me some advice, how can i set it properly? (i've got windows 2000)
2. is it possible in the game, that i can look also up and down with my mouse?
because aiming with keyboard is very difficult...

you can't go up and down with the mouse, but the weapons automatically aim to the enemy's above or below you ;)

your wrong there, if you go into setup(where you setup the sound card), controls, advanced, mouse, you can set the digital up and down to "aim_up" and "aim_down" and that should solve your mouse aiming problem :)

in blood, 'mouse aiming' is toggled by pressing the U button ingame

i've already tried the VDMsound thing, but it doesnt work...maybe because my computer is pentium 300MHz;) well, i try to play it a bit without any sound,maybe with the mouse aiming it'll be quite good;)

they say that the voodoo doll can be hit in various places. But how do I do that?

nope.
the normal fire on the voodoo doll is just random. the alt-fire is a spell over the whole doll, that kills things GOOOOOD. but uses up the doll.

in the earlier versions of blood, the alt-fire on the life leech doesnt work.. or the alt fire on the napalm launcher.
in the later versions, alt fire sets the life leech down on the ground, and it fires at people. the alt fire for napalm launcher makes bouncy napalm balls!
