The Fifth Horseman | ZIP is a compressed format used to store the data for easy transfer and download. You need to unpack the ZIP before you can run the game. |

wascar Robins P.S. Last post user running Win 7 64-bit and DOSbox 0.73 with I.M. Meen game files downloaded and unpacked "as is" from Abandonia (until files moved as noted). Great site! |

For reference sake in this old thread: I also was getting a black screen running in DOSbox after running the initial sound setup install. By some quirk I caught an error message during the screen rewrite that said a .LAB file could not be found in the MEENDATA directory (created during the sound setup above). I copied all the game data files into that created directory (MEENDATA) and ran it through DOSbox again. Success! |

Not really registered | This game seems to run ok (if a bit fast) under normal XP, but I can't seem to get it working in DOSBox - just get a black screen running either MEEN.BAT or IMMEEN.EXE. How do I get it to work? |

Omnomnom | It's like, every time i try to run meen from dosbox, it says : "Run install first". I run it, and it says "Could not save the sound configuration". If I run normally on windows, It saves the configuration, but I can't play the game, because fullscreen is not supported. How to proceed? |

hunvagy | Are you using the software DOSBox, or just trying to run it from the command prompt? |
