Borodin Just wanted to pass along that I've been a distant acquaintance of Ali Atabek, the series creator, for some time. Wrote him a few months back to ask if he'd ever considered redoing TMC for newer computers. Never heard back.

Guest As per a couple of other posters, the version hosted here is problematic and wouldn't run as-is in DOSBox.

The version I got from Underdogs works perfectly.

THIS game was and still is in my top 3 favorite all-time memories of exciting RPG play!! I have my old disks but no computer that will read them. Found DoxBox so hope I can replay this epic. Yes, the graphics are quite dated but the storyline, the character developments and the ability to switch objects/magic books between different characters gave the game a special quality I always admired. My multitudinous old notes including my own drawn area and dungeon maps are around here somewhere! I'm excited to download this one and play it again!! (If it says RPG I've probably played and own it LOL)

Grand Wizzard Alamar This game crashes when I type in mcandle (.exe)
and goes back to the C:\ drive

some noises going on as well

I think you have to wake some gods up and then they'll raise you guys maximum strength, dex, etc. I'm guessing after this you drink from the fountains and they increase your stats. I'll let you know if I find out more. (Right now I'm experimenting with using the guys from the Crystal Castle as they all start with better stats and such.)

Guest_Achim_* The huge map and story setting of this game was just incredible at that time. Magic Candle is one of the reason I started playing RPGs and that I am still a passionate reader of fantasy novels :-)
