Mystvan This game is really cool. The environment is beautiful and cheerful giving a magical and fantastic impression. Hello Microprose!

You get to meet various wizards and witches during the game. And learn new skills.

One of the comic scenes is when you transform into a sphere of energy (for transport purposes primarily crossing abysses, avoiding monsters, etc.) and you will see the old magician. The funny thing is that he recognizes you even in this way!

The other comic scene is when in the end, the prince tells the “old man” to stop pushing him, but is not attended to!

Now one detail that bothered me was the labyrinth. When there was no Walkthrough, you even had to draw the map to avoid monsters and find the way out.

Isn't the point of this site to hold onto games until they become legally available again? Personally I'm happy it is on GOG.

under dragon why not try using SCUMMVM? it should be easier to setup. just make sure all the necessary data files are in one folder and point scummvm to it.

and the last time i checked, it's already fully beatable in scummvm

The Fifth Horseman A switch (which may be called a flag, an option or an argument) is nothing more than an extra element you type in after the rest of the command
What I meant is that you're either entering
Quote:
mount d: c:/kyracd/cd
mount c: c:/kyracd/
or
Quote:
mount c: c:/kyracd/
when what you're supposed to enter is
Quote:
mount d: c:/kyracd/cd -t cdrom
mount c: c:/kyracd/
(obviously C:/kyracd may be whatever other directory you unpacked the game to)

what is a -t cdrom switch??

So, I keep having the same problem as Oceanlife..
I have mounted my cd subdirectory properly, (I think) but I have NO IDEA what a -t cdrom switch is, or how to achieve it. And yes, I've searched the site. For 3 days, actually, trying to get this to work. I am allllmost to the point of saying "F this" and just reading a book. (My usual passtime)
So please help a future-possibal gamer!!!

"For future reference, this problem occurs in two situations:
1. You have not mounted the CD subdirectory of the game directory
2. You have mounted the CD subdirectory of the game directory without using the -t cdrom switch"

I'm running windows 7 x64 and I'm using a fresh install of DOSBox (I haven't configured it in any way).
