Sebatianos Maybe you shuld try switches with the game...

Restart your comuter in dos-mode.
Then go to your game directory.
Now type: Indy256 s (this should activate the soundblaster). I know that p activates the PC speaker (not really something you'd want). a should start an Adlib sound... At least that's what it says in my booklet that came along with the game (but that was long before Win98 were made).

Sebatianos Even if you don't have sound you can still press the skulls. Just look in the jurnal and you'll see something that resembles notes...
It's not notes exactly, but it shows the order in which you must press the skulls. Each line in the jurnal is another skull.

The note under the lines would be the right-most skull. So the skulls in to push according to this picture would be: 4, 5, 6, 6, 6 (skull one being the right-most and skull 6 being the left-most skull).

JJXB use ScummVM to play it, that will allow full sound
