DeathDude | If Nod, Trend, AVG, Housecall etc... say no such virus, I'd say it definitely sounds like a false positive from your anti virus, never even heard of that other virus program used, definitely sounds like a smaller one. Anyways I think you should be safe with that game, just from knowing the bigger anti viruse companies didn't catch anything. |

I also submitted the zip file online to (Virus Total). the result is that out of 32 antivirus programs only 2 detected the file (Avira and Webwasher-gateway) they detected the file as: DOS/NRLG-based.5 or Virus.NRLG-based.5 but no other program detected it (avast, nod32, mcafee etc all clean) Is this normal? if so i would like to know more about the reason if any to learn more about this kind of topics. |

Sinbad and the throne of falcon, virus detected? Hi i downloaded the game Sinbad and the throne of the falcon and i checked with Avira antivir PE (updated) the zip file. it says that it may have a virus or an unwanted program. could any admin check this out? I know that sometimes the antivirus programs make mistakes with old games and even have seen some threads for other games with the same problem and it is never a virus.... but anyway just to check it out. thanks |
