red_avatar Yep, trying a different game would be the first thing to try. Any game that uses a mouse by default will be fine. If it works in that game, it's a problem with your version of Shadow President - a setting that is wrong, or it's set to joystick instead of mouse, etc.

Peter are you actually running the game in DOSBox ?

Sorry but that makes absolutely no sense. But if you want to try running the Win32 build of DOSBox in Mac or Linux, be my guest.

I really don't know... The only reason why I can think right now that the mouse wouldn't work in DOSBox, is that it didn't work in Windows to begin with. Since that's not your case...

You should start with trying a different game.

a weird suggestion but try different version of dosbox?=S

no well dosbox locks the mouse in dosbox im sure u know lol crl f10 unlocks it to get it out of dosbox or vise versa locks it to dosbox. no mouse does not work in dosbox
