I can't describe the agony I've been through as I'm still struggling to get this to work. I tried almost all permutations of mount-install-run commands but to no avail. I just get this instead And, for the sake of completeness I'm putting down the lines that I wrote just below the [autoexec] section Code:
mount C "D:\Oldskool\" imgmount D "D:\Oldskool\gt97.cue" -t iso C:\ cd gt97 gtracing.exe |

I don't know what you think about hosting on filesharing sites, Zirkoni, but I don't do them things. If AB one day would host the images themselves, I would reconsider and could upload (or someone else?) a working image, *mayhaps*. |

I downloaded the Abandonia version and re-installed the game. I get the same no CD message as well. Tried different options to mount the image but every time I started a new championship the game requested to insert the CD. I tried imgmount with different options and Daemon tools+mount -t cdrom with different options. I have a bin/cue image of the game made from my own CD. That version works fine in DOSBox. My version of the bin-file is a few kbs bigger than the AB version so there is some difference between the files. |

Hmmm, can be a Mac SDK prob, bloody @#@#@#Macs. You could try this: Mount the BIN/CUE in a virtual CD drive (you mentioned alcohol?) and mount that as CDdrive D in dosbox. Can't help you further, I stay as far away from @#@#@# Macs as I can. I even wouldn't spit on one. BTW, you have a PM. |

wondeerbutt | Wow. I downloaded the copy from Abandonia, and same problem. This is strange. | ||

The copy I am using was found on a ratio share site. I cannot divulge the name of the site, out of respect for rules of membership there. I have made an error, I asked about GT RACING 97, not realizing this thread refers to the Abandonia copy. Apologies., and thanks very much for your time, fellows. |

And even if '-t iso' still works, in 0.74 it's '-t cdrom' , also for images. [Edit] Is listed in ISO cellar as BIN/CUE. Quote:

Hmmm. I've mounted ISO's and IMG files hundreds of times in both Windows and Mac DOSBox versions. But dammit, this one is not working! LOL. Would you kindly copy/paste your mount command? Using MAC OSX Dosbox 0.74: imgmount d /users/Le_Presidente/Library/MSDOSHD/CD/GT97.img -t iso I've tried this mostly and never works. |

Fully seconded, works fine in dosbox 0.74. No problems whatsoever. More probably: you screwed up somewhere. |

Thanks for your reply. You must have another copy, so it seems! |
