Back in the day of raw PvP online sports games , Links 386 pro / Links 97 and Links LS98 , provided cutting edge ability to match up guys from the USA against Aussies or others in real time competition . I did ok in most competitions . The Big thing was Case's ladder , but a few gamer controlled competitions also provided lots of great ways to prove your Links worth . DI incredibly hard track , Innisbrook and Pelican always troubled me , there was an unofficial Augusta course release , also very difficult . Cheers chump Quote:

Add-on Courses Hi Everyone. I have all 25 original (not converted from the earlier version) release Add-on courses for Links386 as floppy's and CD-ROM. Let me know if anyone is still tracking down these courses. This was/is a great game. Admittedly I have moved on to Links LS. Never got the Links 2001 or Links 2003 bug, but still did collect all those courses as well. In fact I have every course for every version for Links, so let me know what you're after. I'd love to see a revival of this game. |

I tried the download from here and I have a links 386 cd version...this is my grandpa's game and I am trying to get it working for him all other features of the game work but on both pro and cd the swing meter seems to pick up a phantom click which prevents more powerful swings cpu: amd athlon xp 1.66 ghz ram: 1.5gb os: windows xp sp3 dosbox: 0.74 graphics: radeon 9200 series using standard logitech model lx3 2 button with scroll optical mouse |

These are all that I know of. Splash screens and recorded players would be nice, but the CRH is better than nothing, right? The courses already up on Abandonia are mostly CRH only, too, except: Castle Pines Pebble Beach Innisbrook Mauna Kea Pinehurst Riviera These are complete, with screens and players. By now, I managed to find complete disks of the Banff Springs course, too, so I could add the extra files. Maybe the extras of this game could use a complete makeover? I could upload all courses as seperate downloads or one big archive, containing all the courses. Or we include them all in the game archive... If we could get these missing courses, Abandonia would be the no. 1 abandonware site for Links 386 Pro enthusiasts |

I found another course, the Riviera Country Club! It's up on FTP and waiting to be put on site. Now we still have these courses missing: Praerie Dunes (can be found on the 5-Course Library Vol. 1) Cog Hill (can be found on the 5-Course Library Vol. 2) Pelican Hill (can be found on the 5-Course Library Vol. 2) Oakland Hills (can be found on the 5-Course Library Vol. 4) Valderrama Valhalla Congressional Maybe there are even more, it's kind of complicated with the courses since not all of them have been released seperately for Links or Links 386, but for Links LS (and seem to work with Links 386, too) or on various compilations. Some of these seem to be available at Underground Gamer, so if anyone has an account there, maybe he can get them. I'll keep looking myself, but these are really hard to find. |

TotalAnarchy | For now I have uploaded the course separately, since the bug will take more time than expected to be fixed. | |
