Old Schooler Hahahaha I used to play Classic Concentration on my old muck PC 24/7! I'm so glad I *meep*in found it. It's great muck. Of course I am a <strike>loser</strike> so nobody should pay attention to what I say.

"Classic Concentration" was a daytime game show on NBC and was hosted by Alex Trebek of "Jeopardy!". In "Classic Concentration," each player took turns calling out a pair of numbers on the board; behind each was a certain prize, usually gifts, trips, or money. If a player was able to find two squares with the same prize, he kept the prize and would win it if he was able to hang on to the prize until he solved the riddle at the end of the round. There was also a special ability to take a prize from one's opponent.

And Americans have 8 words to describe shoes. Sole, back, front, top, tongue, laces, insoles, and the inside.

My wife and I play that game a bit. I'm wondering where I can look to find new (?) puzzle files because we find them repeating now and then.

A. J. Raffles So do you Americans. It's a characteristic of the English language that there are more words than any sane person could imagine. There's something like thirty words describing different parts of a shoe, for crying out loud. But as a student of literature I'm sure you knew that example already.

About the game, though: I'm afraid I'm not old enough to remember that TV show and some bits of the review didn't really make sense to me. What's this bit about matching tiles?

it's not a drawer... it's a money till... hence "Till the end of time..."
No, it's a drawer. You silly Brits have words for EVERYTHING, don't you?

swiss I love the English English much more than the Amrican English.

Is not "colour" much more poetic than "color"?
Or hidden and concealed
Or litter and garbage
...

but I fear we go now ...

The difference between American English and English English is that the former was fixed so that it actually made grammatical sense.* How many words are there for a drawer in English English?* Why?* Why is "centre" not pronounced "sen-tree?"
What does pronunciation have to do with grammar?

blastradius14 Them english people are funny
Us americans are the Smaert ones LOL

Yeah, school doesn't teach you much, thats why you can make up your own words. Who cares if no one else knows what you are talking about.
