No, he is confused, the game with shops and bosses is called Penguin Adventure, from Konami, too. Itīs like this Antartic Adventure but a little more complex, the graphics are the same, and itīs played with Penta the Penguin too, but in this case he must found a golden apple to save his "penguingirl". He must fight with final bosses and found secret shops in the ice cracks.

Magnumi This is one of the first game titles that I remember playing. Originally I played the game on a MSX system (HitBit) and later on both NES and PC (DOS).

It's a nice little arcade game with decent controls, secrets, end boss battles, minigame, powerups, good music and character design.

Konami classic.

Alexis78 Someone dumped this cartridge in a cassette, and my Sony Hit Bit played it with a Bit Recorder, and I finished this game. Great music when I was young.

Great game.

Xaromir Actually it looks less like sliding - more like waddling.
But that just makes it even more awesome!

Reminds me.
Hint:
Keep a stick ready for biting or you will sooner or later find out
how tasty (or not) your bottom really is.

_r.u.s.s. that's actually a penguin sliding on ice; going, like, 20 kilometers per second? that is 72000 kilometers per god damn hour

this mother'ucking penguin

Xaromir Thanks for making this one available.
Never really heard of this one but i guess it's never to late
to discover golden oldies eh?
I hope that it will get a bit harder though.
Fascinating to see that the idea of a "Boss button" existed even back then.

thinlizzy the Friends group developed a tool for recompiling some MSX games to DOS (mostly Konami games).
they ported a dozen of games: King's Valley, Choplifter, Goonies Antartic Adventure, Knightmare, Yie ar Kung Fu I & II, Road Fighter, Mopiranger, Zanac, Pashka, Rise Out, Cosmo Explorer, Payload, Sky Jaguar and Exoide-Z, as far I remember
