Lucullus | Isn't Z the drivename you mount to btw? so when you mount a folder with your fav game in it you mount it as Z. | |

Thanks for your suggestion but if I type "C" at the "Z:\>" and hit enter I get "illegal command: C." Mike |

I have the same problem. After following the set up instructions I still get a Z:\ prompt instead of a C:\ prompt when I open DOSBox-0.63 from the programme start group. I don't know why this is and will not allow me to continue the tutorial to set up the other folders in the correct file place. Anybody any ideas where I have gone wrong please? Any suggestions to correct this please? thanks Mike |

it doesn't really matter what it starts with. After you mount a drive, type "C:" without the quotes to change from Z to C. |

Villefort78 | I was installing dosbox via the tutorial included on this site, and after I altered .conf to work with C drive and not Z, dos still opens with Z, not C, and I have no idea why, any help would be appreciated. |
