Smiling Spectre It works even for me, and I have most incompatible system in that occasion: Windows10x64. So something strange happens here.

Routine questions for the start: do you have enough free space on system HDD? Do you enable memory caching? Did you try checking HDD for the errors? Are you sure that there are no viruses - and if it isn't, did you check the logs of your antivirus? Do you have admin rights on this machine? Did you see system log - they can hold info about why setup crashed?

Oh, and side question: why do you haven't any optical drives in your system? How do you handle disc mounting then?

Ah okay, thanks for the information! And I got some bad news.. Tried to install it with the .cue file and it did the same thing, just made my screen blink and nothing else, should I attempt to install it on my virtual machine?

I taken the image from the archive.org. Mounted CUE. Installed it (SETUP.EXE totally worked for me), then played! Surprisingly enough, while game threatens with 3D-accelerated graphics and DirectX5, it totally worked on my Win10 x64.

Except one quirk: I believe, Windows not supporting CD-audio from mixed-mode CDs natively (or it's simply missing in current DirectX API), so while there are many songs on disk, I heard none. :| Well, if you want a _music_, you can get the sound with specialized music player, I suppose. I played it for test.

Do you have problems with this CD too?
It has a .BIN and .CUE file right? I always used .BIN with games because it seemed like that one always has everything to set it up but if you say it works perfectly setting up with .CUE file I'll try it out on my day off, Many thanks for your help and I'll let you know if I come across any more problems

Smiling Spectre Well, then next suspect is setup.exe. I'll check it when I'll have the time and tell you what's the problem. Hopefully.
