The Fifth Horseman Still, it is pretty bad when you want to quickly search through the thread for a particular something and find the displayed content cut off somwhere halfway through 2005.

SupSuper Maybe it's to prevent printers from jamming? :P

plix I'll bet it's just a hard-coded LIMIT clause. I'll also bet that if you were to post a bug report that you'd be told it was a "security measure" for some odd-ball reason (which would superficially sound sane, but really isn't).

I don't have a copy of the IPB source to double check, though, and I'm not about to pay $300 for it, either.

The Fifth Horseman The "print thread" does not print the content of the thread out on a printer. All it does is showing a printable version, which also happens to be more convenient when you are looking through the thread for certain information.

Go to [Options]-->[Print This Topic] to see how it looks.

The problem is, it cuts off posts after a certain date (no "next page" button here). The problem appeared with longer threads before, true, but now the cut-off seems to be a bit earlier, it seems.

Kosta No idea... but that's very forum specific, I don't have any control over it. You might just as well report forum bugs to invision powerboard's official site as they are the ones responsible I sure as hell am not going to re-code it for them

Quintopotere Sorry for spamming, but does someone print the threads? mg2:
Apart from the_fifth_horseman, obviously...

Bobbin Threadbare I didn't know people even printed threads...

You could use a different browser. Or would that not effect it?

The Fifth Horseman The "Print thread" option does not display the entire thread, only few first pages of content.
In case of longer threads, the result is quite obviously irritating.
