uhm I think you could try to delete the contents of the gamedat directory
Um there isn't anything in my Gamedat directory, is this bad?

EDIT: Ok no worries I've fixed it. I'll post the fix just in case anyone else has this problem. I went into my statics folder and renamed the U*SHAPES.FLX to U*SHAPESX.FLX so that Pagan couldn't detect there was anything to uncompress and now it works perfectly

FreeFreddy I have no idea. It starts without problems on my PC and I can restore my saved games and all, after I start DosBox second time again. The shapes-file is decompressed already, actually. Why it should start to decompress again is a mystery to me. :eeeeeh:
Perhaps you changed the folder in the install.exe to another one? Don't do it. That's all I can think of right now...

LordHogFred Ok Ultima 8 works perfectly with DOSbox up until I quit and try to play it again then it tries to unpack the shapes and textures again and tells me I have a corrupt install.

Any help would be great,

Chz ,
