I haven't tested it on anything but my PC but I thought I'd share it as I think it lets you enjoy the game in a different way. I've attached a copy to this post, or alternatively you can get the latest version from the link below.

I know this post is really old, but I just downloaded this editor today and found that when I changed the name of the starting heroes and select them to play their prefectures have changed to Gao Qui's and they are no longer playable. The AI is just playing the game... Is there a reason for this?

Cicobuff For those unable to save the game.

Remember to select 3. Create save game disk at the start screen BEFORE starting a new game.

The 0 key on the keypad places the hero.

Save Solution

SAVING:

Create a "b" drive by doing the same thing you did for your "c" drive. Then set it in the save menu. It will now save.

Hope this helps!

bjm Hi, I'm not planning any more changes at this stage.

Japo There's a bug in the website, that we can't remove extras. However I can perfectly add the new version too, and put some pressure on the techs (or not). Unless you plan to do more changes soon, then we could wait?

bjm Hi Japo

Here's the new version of my editor, it can edit more prefecture settings and also has a (hopefully) better interface. Can you update the link on the game page to this new version please?
