Yeah, I also got stuck in a level. Tried searching, found some hidden doors - but leading nowhere. Tried pickaxe, only to find that this rock is too hard for digging. Is it possible to dig a hole down to another level? EDIT: OK, I found the reason, I need to go back (up) a bit... |

two questions that bother me and i can't find answer for. i know this game is also based on chance. however i find it strange - a few times i started with character i can't even get to level 2. there are just two halways form the room i started in and that's it. i wasn't archeologist or somethign with a pickaxe and such. my quesiton is is it possible that the game becomes completely impossible to finish in it's iteration?! in a way that you are doomed from the start? i mean i know it can be very very hard to finish. but impossible form start. that would be kind of stupid. another quesiton i can't find the answer to is pets. i am aware of their usefullness, but what bothers me is that they keep going arorund instead of following you. they are just so easy to loose. and you spend a lot of time waiting for them and such. that's a bit silly... my quesiton is is there a trick with keeping them near you? |

As mentioned by zirkoni - you can try to use Dosbox. Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to use it |

Fullscreen I can't play this game in fullscreen on vista for some reason. It says "this system does not support fullscreen mode." It works fine on my other comp, which runs XP. What gives? Can somone help me with this, it's very annoying. |

BranjoHello | I was totaly driven by atmosphere to try this one but graphics and pushed me away. I hope someone(developers) will use this control system on better looking RPG in the future.

chainsoar | Just in case the super old-school graphics interface bothers anyone as it bothers me (OK I'm a new school kiddie, so sue me), check out the Vulture's Eye or the Falcon's Eye, which are basically isometric remakes, the Falcon's Eye being especially graphics driven.

Morrin | Isn't Nethack freeware, not abandonware? I mean, I don't mind it being here but just saying..
