Scatty Not only that, but also considering a 1-space between letters of a possible link might be useful, something like "w w w" or "d o m a i n . net". Whoever is using those bots, will find a loophole if there's one.

verek_22 Is it possible to stop new accounts from putting links in their posts? Maybe they would need 10 posts or something before they could post links. That might disarm the spam at least.

Not enough. I still don't see my proposals implemented in the registration page, looks like there's only reCAPTCHA defending us from spammers.

No way I'm going to manually remove spam (which reaches 20 posts daily) on voluntary basis.
