gruegirl By comparison, Red Hell seems to like DosBox MUCH better. No matter what I do to Kronolog it runs at about 10 FPS, Red Hell if anything runs slightly too fast. It also doesn't hit the Pallet-swap problem I've been having with Kronolog.

Now if only I could find a version of Red Hell with the crack you guys have, or a manual scan.

Extra stuff I just noticed: There's a couple obvious bits that show Kronolog was the original. Including that amung "Artifacts from the 1940's" in red-hell, there's a clock that was a gift to Lenin... who was already dead by that time. Then there's the painting in the same office that in Kronolog has a rotating swastica, since a hammer-and-sickle isn't geometrically interesting that way, it's replaced by a boring rotating square. Also all the birds on swords/knives, another nazi symbol, though not an offencive one apperently.

Best example of this: Why the hell would the soviets care about the zeppelin?

TotalAnarchy The Red Hell archive and screenshots have been replaced with the official ones for Kronolog - The Nazi Paradox. We'll reupload the European version of the game, Red Hell, which was hosted here instead of Kronolog up until now, either as an extras for this game or a separate entry.

Ermuli I'll probably upload two versions later today.

Makes you wonder if the reviewer actually played the game or just cut and pasted the review....

Can you upload it in your FTP folder? Me or someone else will make some screens to replace the current ones, and the gamepage will be complete. Thank you

TotalAnarchy For now I added some notes in the review describing the situation. The best way is if we'd find and replace the archive and screenshots with the Kronolog version, since I think the review and walkthrough talk about Kronolog and not Red Hell. After that we can make a separate entry for Red Hell using the same screenshots and archive, but with a new review.

TotalAnarchy What's really funny is how strangelove reviewed the game. In the review he talks only about the nazis, but the screenshots display the Soviet red flag. Great, now even the manual is rendered useless, since it's for Kronolog... But it seems that the newspost had its use, because without it we would've never knew we had another version.

Since Ermuli has the manual, it's really possible he had the game too. We should to ask him.
