Might and Magics no longer abandonware?

Didn't know where to put or send this, so:

Read up on GameBanshee:

Quote:
In addition to their other recent Might and Magic offerings, Good Old Games has now added a bundle pack that includes the first six games from the classic RPG series. $9.99 gets you:
"Might and Magic: Book 1";
"Might and Magic 2: Gates to Another World";
"Might and Magic 3: Isles of Terra";
"Might and Magic 4&5: World of Xeen";
bonus adventure "Sword of Xeen"
"Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven"

If the license holders have cut a deal with GOG over M&M 1-6--which they would have had to do, since M&M VI is still restricted--won't that affect the status of all those titles as abandonware?
