"FB" is used to run Flashback. Don't think that the tutorial will work for every game, cause it's not like that. Flashback is only an example. |

Thanks i changed that, but its still not letting me open the game, what command am i supposed to type to open the game, the tutorial says type FB, but it just says its an illegal command, im sorry to be such a noob but i only just discoverd this site about a week ago, everythings new to me, so i kinda have no idea what im doing really. Could i try installing the game into the DOS folder on my Cdrive, cause that seems pretty similar to unzipping a downloaded game into the DOS folder. EDIT Nevermind somehow i figured it out, typing in random stuff |

:help: I have the CD for legend of kyrandia 1 and Hand of Fate both for PC and i have DOS box, I read the tutorial and did evrything in it, and I still cant figure out how to run these old games, my PC has a lot of error messages that come up mostly to do with my not having a sound card thats compatible, I downloaded VDM Sound but that come up with another error, I basically dont know anything about how to run dos box other than what I read from the tutorial, and it doesnt say anything about games from a CD, its probly something very simple that im not getting, if anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it. :bye: |
