The Fifth Horseman Aliens versus Predator: Electronic Arts 1999.
Very unlikely it's abandoned, don't you think?
The sequel (released only two years later) is still sold, anyway

Icewolf But we're still waitin for an answer! Is it still sold FOR CERTAIN?!

Eagle of Fire Actually, the reason why I didn't closed this thread on sight is that "lending" a game to someone else IRL is not illegal per se... Tough I'd close it at the first clue of warez and the like.

Icewolf Thanks Horseman! But we better be certain, right?

The Fifth Horseman I think it is still sold.

Well, I still have a NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 32MB. So you could come over from Düsseldorf and we could meet in Hamburg and I lend it to you and you can try... <_<

How kind of you :w00t: Only problem is that I'm not sure if it suits into my notebook. Probably not... <_<

Hmm. I always liked that game a lot! When I have DSL at home I could drag it from you maybe? Takes about seven days or something to get me quick internet until it's properly instelled.[/b]
This really wouldn't be a problem to me. But we had to arrange a certain time so that I could be at university and be able to get into use of the fast connection. I think an iso would do the job, wouldn't it?
But is AvP already abandonware? I will not offer any warez...

Edit: Well it is not added to abandonia's olwares list... TOM HENRIK PLEASE, TOM HENRIK! Well, it's published by FoxInteractive so there's an ESA protection. But I dunno under what rule this game falls...so again: TOM PLEASE...

DonCorleone Hi there,

today I searched my old cd-roms and I found Alien vs. Predator, which I unbelievably never played. So I installed it on my notebook to check if this game is worth to be kept in my collection. The menu and all isn't a big problem. But when I start playing I just see indicators like radar and some scrambled up graphics. Of course I tried the compatiblity mode for win98 -did I mention that I'm using WinXP?- and some different resolution without any visible result. And on the web I can't find a patch or something like that. Does somebody have a clue?

EDIT: OK. I googled a little more and it seems that there is no solution to this problem since it is a driver based problem. My graphics card is too elite <_<
