Guest_LacyCat_* Thanks. I have used DosBox for other games and it works great! I just can't get Ascendancy to cooperate. I've tried using VDMS too with no luck. Am I supposed to unzip all the files (there must be about 20 of them) that are still zipped up inside the file after the download is unzipped? I don't see an extractor anywhere..... My trouble seems to have something to do with not being able to locate sound drivers fro some reason. Other programs don't have this problem. Obviously I'm doing something wrong.. I just don't know what it is.
