This game was removed from Abandonia at the time, because it was a Win3.X game. So I'd recommend showing him how to install Win 3.X in dosbox.

Kaleb, Abandonia has some pretty good FAQ's and guides to run the games we have here:

You can find some decent dosbox user guides in there, as well as answers to many other questions you didn't even know you had to ask

We should definitely put a link to the dosbox FAQ on the front page or something...
Even when new users look at the forum and it says at the top:
"READ THE FAQ FFS"
people seem to miss it.

Matryoshka-style emulation? Don't even think of it. You'd be better off using M$ Virtual PC or similar concoction (like BOCHS or VMWARE)

how would one use vesafix? there has to be some way to get this game to work for xp! maybe a winxp hosting a MacOS (~V7.5) machine that's hosting a 3.1 emulator?

And it's not a win XP game so why should it work in XP? Not all old games work in XP. Some very good ones have huge problems even with Dos box. which if oyu ask me is not the reson to remove it. Plenty of people still running Win 98 (SE).

I managed to get the game working on a Windows 3.1 system!!!

k:

I had to modify the graphics setting in Windows Setup (not the control panel) to get the corrupted graphics fixed!!!

Please get the game back -- it works for sompe people!!!
