velik_m Yes write in for location, name and surname optional... - basically no personal information if a person does not wish to give it.

I agree. Just make it free-text. As for its mandatory-ness... I personally don't have any troubles revealing the city I live in, but it should be optional for the sake of others (you can pick a random city if it bothers you for the moment, though ).

I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and had to pick that obscure Svalbard and Jan Mayen place (I think NATO has an airbase there ) as my country doesn't show up at all (but the Faroe Islands and Moldova do, for some reason).

axm At least the German cities are a mess as well. At first glance only cities I never heard of, the big cities i was looking for (Hamburg) missing...

I think it is way too ambitious to make the city a dropdown. Make it freetext - what are you using it for anyway? Why is it mandatory? I find it (just so) acceptable to make the country mandatory, but the city??

Same here for Romania. I do not care if there are Hungarians over here, I don't need/want to see Hungarian city names for Romanian cities.

The Fifth Horseman There seems to be a problem with "Cities" field for Poland - many names are duplicated or triplicated with variant spelling and language versions (ex, under "Dolnośląskie": Breslau, Vrotslav, Breslavia, Wroslav -> all mean Wroclaw).

Also, in all cases the region ("state") names are unneccesarily included on the "Cities" list. "Województwo" means essentially the same thing as "state".

Calus Israel is missing too :/

I think it's because you also have to fill in the area, cities etc. so it'd quite a database to put.

Banjo No Australia either, unless there's something I'm missing...? How did any countries actually manage to get forgotten in that list?
