Flop If you install the patch, you will get an error that crashes the game every time you try to enter battle mode. For me it's a good trade off, since I don't like the battle mode and never used it anyway, but if you like the battle mode, you probably shouldn't install the patch.

DSmidgy I've been looking for this game for years. Had it few years ago but my Mitsumi 2x CD-ROM ruined the disc.

What do you mean by ... it brakes battle mode?

Flop You're right about the settings of course, my bad.

And just remember that the patch isn't applied, you have to do that yourselves. I highly recommend applying it, even though it breaks the battle mode, since it enhances the rest of the game quite a lot.

red_avatar Haha, what a coincidence - I was reading through an old PCGamer issue that had this game reviewed and wondered if some Abandonware site would have it (seeing as it got a good score). And now here it is!

USMC0705 I just wanted to make note that if there are nine factors with five settings each, there are a lot more than 9*5 options.

If I recall from my Alg II days, the proper equation would be 5^9, or 1,953,125.

That seems a bit steep, I know, but there are five possibilities for each slider, none of them are mutually exclusive, so five times five nine times over.

I just thought the bigger number might make the game seem more appealing. k:
