There is no way to configure the buttons of the controller in game, there is just calibration. When I try to remap them using ctrl + 1, it doesn't work either. The weird thing is that the keyboard doesn't work in game either (only directions work).

You are lucky, my logitech rumblepad 2 works great with other games, but I can't get it to work with this game. Buttons are not responsive
Even when I reset the keymapper, keyboard or controller buttons don't work in game but weirdly enough, they work in selection menus...

I play this one on mame, and it works flawlesly, even on slower machines!
So try that one ;-)
I realize you're new here, but I'd really appreciate it if you didn't tell people what version of the game they should or shouldn't play.

Also, IMO, MAME isn't the best choice for Street Fighter arcade games anymore. The emulator I use is Final Burn Alpha, which is 10X faster than MAME and has more video and audio effects.

SpiDoL Hey Expack2, you now have my full permission to upload CD-less versions of my ISO Cellar games. Start with this one, because not only is the CD audio vastly superior to the MIDI music, the controls are smoother and much more responsive in the CD version than they are in the floppy version.

Japo Be sure to use dynamic core.

B-Wolf I have been playing around with the speed settings in Dosbox to see how fast I could get this game to run before the controls stopped responding. From what I found out, the controls start to lose their responsiveness after 20000 cpu cycles. The game plays very smoothly at around 30000 cpu cycles, but the controls are really unresponsive. This probably varies form PC to PC.
