Japo Done...

lwc I'm glad you solved it!

However, your PDF converter has removed all links, including the index anchors and my copyrighted credit (keep in mind the game pages don't credit documents).

Here's a temp link to a PDF that retains all links, can you please use it instead?

Japo I found the right way to delete an extra on this stupid website (it's not as simple as FTP any longer unfortunately). Everything should be ok now (unless yesterday I broke something else than the old extra).

I have converted your document to PDF.

lwc Nice suggestion!

But meanwhile, it seems the old walkthrough's filename has been renamed and is also no longer under my credit (if you enter my profile, the contribution is gone!). Why is that?

Is there anyone around with FTP access?

I have just tried to update your document, only to find out that there seems to be no way to do it. Our website CMS allows us to add extras, but not replace them. I thought there would be a backdoor way to delete extras, but it doesn't seem to have the desired effect.

I don't see a good solution in this case...
Greetings O Great Emperor Japo(deis) (not Capo nor Paco ).

I hope you are not referring to my Puns, Infamous and Unfunny Bad Jokes and Nonsense Stuffs ...

By the way, I have a solution that is not totally satisfactory to work around this problem.

If it is possible to rename this file as “Walkthrough - Updated” or something? Would it be something like that, (Mi)Lady of the Rings updated the Walkthrough written (Dragonsphere) and rename the file so there is no conflict or error on FTP?

Here's a temp link, please update it: [temp link removed]

But I do think the state of this site/forums warrants more delegation. As for myself, I've been here for years and added at least one walkthrough, I think it should be enough. You can take an example from http://www.portablefreeware.com on how to earn edit rights.

Well, either that or provide an easy way to submit updates. Chasing admins is not so nice. ;-)
You are welcome!

lwc, thanks for the compliment.

To tell you the truth, I am one of the Updaters of a Comic book encyclopedia site (BU / MU). The Updater from there does not have as broad powers as the Updaters here.

So it is understandable to be cautious on the part of the Administrators here, as an evil-minded Updater could alter the content of the main site, delete the collection of files, games, etc.

It is quite possible that as there is a lack of Updaters, you can become one of them in the future. Just be patient.

Yes, I abbreviated the name GTX2GvO for convenience and ease.

Glad your problem is being solved.

Now do not say that. Updaters have the permissions and can also solve this. So much so that you can see on the main site the news published by marko river, _r.u.s.s., Etc.

The more help options, the better, right? Well, at least that is what I think.
