I like typing adventure games better as well. Does anyone still make those? Text parsers are amazing.

gumpy A good old adventure from the good old days. Sigh... They don't make them like this anymore...

Akira This was the first text-based adventure game I ever played. Also, this was the only KQ game I ever finished with absolutely NO hints whatsoever! (a big feat for me)

*Happy sigh* I still remember the first time my sister and I were playing and entered the screen of Old Hag Hagitha's cave to see the Batmobile cruising back and forth (Nana-nana-nana-nana Batman!). Good times, good times.:amused:

arete Don't these Sierra games count as "sold" instead of "esa-protected" now? I'm sure they're on Amazon somewhere... You'd think they'd give them away by now

is there a site you can go to that you can actually download the original KQ?
No, you can't download the original because it's ESA. As mentiones above, there is a remake which you can download.

If you want the original, try eBay.
