Am I doing something wrong OR missing a configuration?
Use SHIFT+numpad 2-4-8-6 keys to avoid that kind of troubles. Don't even have to disable numlock to use them.

That or plug one of those obsolete IBM keyboards in ... a 'clickety-clack' as they were called ....
Damn I miss those ol'noise makers.

Thanks and How To make small cursor movements

Thanks! I've got a 3GHz machine. Last night I had to slow the frame/cycle rate down to about 50 to get an experience similar to my memories of playing. I used the duck quack and skeleton vibration/repaint rate to tweak this. Is that the same rate y'all are using?

and THANKS again for the quick reply. So great to know others still recognize the value of this game.

Recommendation for a new game (if y'all are interested): Crayon Physics Deluxe.

dosraider The game is pre-installed, don't run install.
Unzip all the files in c:\oldgames\rockys\ or so, and run rocky's in dosbox.
As simple as that.

Struggling w/ install

I'm using DosBox and am desperate to get this game running. It was one of the many things my Dad got/made/offered me as a kid that steered my path in life. When I run install, it asks about a: and b: drives as 'dos disks.' I'm new to DosBox, step by step help with this game would be GREAT and very much appreciated. My kids are ready for this, and I'm looking forward to sharing it with them.

Reba I remember my father using this game as a tool in his electronics classroom at a vocational school. One day I was in his classroom after school, wasting time, and found this game. In no time, I was learning about electrical circuits when I was only in 3rd grade while he was using it for high school and adult students for required assignments.

For its time, it was a very fun, innovative way to teach students about logic circuits and diagrams.

*laf* 2 days and not a post on this game.

Well, I enjoyed this game. Once again, I still feel a modern update would be in order that would allow you more ready access to the bits and bobs to build stuff with.

If you all loved this game and Robot Odyssey so much, you're going to love the last one yet to come!

Well, I'll reply.

I remember this game as a kid, playing it for hours on my Apple IIe, back in the mid 80's. I honestly think this is the game that helped me get through logic circuits in my naval electronic training. I've been trying to remember the name of this game forever, so thanks for finally posting it. Who know's, I might even bite the nostalgia bullet and play it a bit.
