Guest the game won't let me go to the brewer's meeting. What do you select to go there?

But the game says that you can use a amstrad mouse (or is it ibm) any way can I somehow emulate one of them using my normal mouse
I suppose you've already tried what it says in the readme file?

Q: The mouse doesn't work.
A: Normally DOSBox detects the mouse being used by a game. If you click on
* the screen then it should get locked (confined to the DOSBox window)
* and work. Sometimes the DOSBox mouse detection doesn't work with certain
* games. You might have to force to lock the mouse then with ctrl-F10.
Anyway, even if it doesn't work, you don't really need a mouse for this game.

You can't. Just use the arrow keys.

Well there should be an option to replay... then you'd play it all over again (strange - I have to check when I last played the C64 version, hopefully my review wasn't based entirely on that one... My memory seems to be fading lately...).
Well, obviously I can start over, but then I'll be starting on 1 April again, with 50% popularity...

A. J. Raffles 78%, yay! That's a lot more popular than Tony Blair, I bet.

The game still always ends after week 1, though.

A. J. Raffles So it doesn't crash on any other day then? Great. I'll have another go at it then.
Actually this game reminds me a lot of the books.

athcnv Actually, the quote I wanted to use in relation to you doing nothing not affecting your score was....

Sir Humphrey: Her Majesty does like the business of government to continue even when there are no politicians around.
Jim: Bit difficult surely?
Sir Humphrey: Yes .... and no.
