I wonder if different PC versions came out. Someone mentioned they'd played the game in England and found no bugs. Well, ditto. I live in England and I recall finishing the game without finding a single bug. Whichever version you choose to play, make sure you try this game. Despite what this reviewer says, Todd Howard (of Elder Scrolls fame) not only did he like this game but admits that it influenced his Elder Scrolls series. And if you've actually played TES:Arena and TESaggerfall you will also found an influence from Ultima Underworld (even in the music). |

Borodin | Substitute "far less buggy" for "much better," and you may have your answer. Can't say I've checked out the Amiga one, but the PC version was among the buggiest games I ever reviewed. And they never issued a patch, or responded to questions about one. | |

Hi everyone, I'm curious if anyone has played the Amiga version. While the PC version is bashed everywhere, the Amiga version seems to have been highly rated. Is it that much better? |

Thanks. That was kind of DUH of not having looked up, but... It doesn't ask for IRQ or any settings, so it might be that these are configured when you first install the program, and then this SNDDVR is just to change the sound card? No? Has anyone heard any music through this? Ever? I'm not hearing anything yet (just the movement bleeps). The credits mentions music composers. The music wouldn't have to be within the video file. Ah well, boring start if it's going to be so void of any sound. Talkie Allright, so I now have the Iso CD of this (thanks to my contacts), fully installable (no Disk 2 error), and it doesn't give anything new over what's already here. There is no intro music, but when I played after a while, I finally heard some music when being arrested, so, it is there. This said, the version here crashed on me where the ISO install didn't, which is when checking my character profile. So I'm uploading it temporarely for those who care. Only 10 persons can get this, so if someone has a better option, it's in your hand. I wouldn't even be surprised to see this post deleted or me getting banned for this, for all I care. http://rapidshare.com/files/374868440/VALOUR.ISO.html Good luck, Talkie Forgot to mention that this is a Disket-to-CD-Rom transfer, just as it was released by Kixx. Nothing fancy. If you heard of a Cd-Rom version, you might mean the Fm-Town Marty version released only in Japan. Talkie |
