Saccade yeah... But I'm trying to be nicer these days

Luchsen Didn't you have a strangely-addressed Google servant?
14-11-2009 06:56 PM
Saccade If we keep serving these kids for simple google searches, they'll never learn how to use a search engine...

Luchsen Download the shogunm.pdf from here.

As soon as you have 20 followers you will receive orders from the Buddha for your final task.

Oskatat seconded on noticing new posts

Saccade When yr account it validated (apart from being able to use PM's) you can EDIT posts.
This will mean you're not having so many conversations with yourself and no-one will get on yr case about mass posting in one thread.
Or at least, not quote yourself in each one.

We *always* notice new posts. No matter how long it has been since the last one.

Oh yeah... Forgot to say.
I have a manual. Look on the net and you can find it, too. I'll PM you in a few days when yr account's sorted out.
Though you've kinda said everything that is pertinent to playing and completing the game.
It doesn't say what you need to collect, but it's something like:

Statue, Lotus, Katana, Holy/Prayer Book and something else that I can't remember. May be a fan.
Maybe it was more than 5...
I'll d/l it and have a play again.

Prayer book or flower or something like that? I remember one of the objects was often found in one of the rooms in the secret tunnel area that was only accessible if you had one of the other objects.

I know, may not be a lot of help since I can't be more specific....20 years will do that to you. I'll try to play it some soon and see if that jogs my memory on the objects. That's one of the main reasons I asked if anyone had the manual.
Found this, which gives a very brief description of becoming a Shogun:
http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/sh...viewerId,6290/

"The game objective is quite clear from the title: Shogun, although the thing is not about being a Shogun, but becoming a Shogun. Anyone in the game can become a Shogun: there are certain requirements that must be fulfilled, among others you have to have a certain number of followers, and obtain certain sacred and ceremonial items, among other a Buddha Statute."

Anyway, play the C64 version! Awesome!

You can communicate with other members via the pm system.
You didn't really remove the email anyway...it just shows "*removed*"...but the link still shows my email address. No problem for me, but figured I'd point it out in case that is not the intention of your forum for blocking emails.
