Smiling Spectre Funny coincidence. Just recently I seek for working English version of Mega Lo Mania (with sound) and returned empty-handed...

Rainware
Remake

This game is just awesome! I am so passionated about this game, that I as an Indie game developer decided to create a remastered version. Maybe you are also interested in my current development. Please make sure to checkout: https://rainware.de/tera-lo-mania

I would love to chat with passionated people about this game. I also have a series of developer video logs which explains more about my intentions

Gone is the Holst "Mars" music, gone are the entertaining voice samples, (now replaced with barely audible 0.1kHz samples that would shame a Sinclair Spectrum - that only sound like "gfdhjkag**<crackle>fhj***<crackle><crackle>fdjkF" )
This version is IMPOSSIBLE to control and play (see the post before this one).

Typical of late 80's early 90's PC games - utter shit compared to their Amiga counterparts.

And another example of the level of quality left around here after GOG.com have wiped out the abandonware scene with their neverending "game rights grabbing" of the past few years.
Its so bad one post isnt enough. There are also NO SFX WHATSOEVER in this version. And the pile of shit crashes back to dosbox at the drop of the hat. The piss poor (even on 256 color VGA mode) graphics glitch like a spasmodic squid having a fit.

If you have fond memories of the excellent Amiga 500 version - DO NOT TOUCH THIS WITH A 50 FT SHITTY STICK - it will destroy them all on you!

You do, F2 it is! Thanks man.

Other issues that I face at the moment are

1) When I need single clicks, like when trying to retreat with my army from a sector, I need to REALLY slow down the DosBox, much much slower than what seems to be the original speed of the game. Is that normal? With how many cycles do you run the game?

2) When I try to place defending soldiers into the towers of additional buildings like Deep Pit or Factory, they actually appear in the castle, replacing the unit that was placed their before. How do I defend my additional buildings? The Manual (Sega Mega Drive) suggests that this actually should not happen and one can easily place units there just like in the castle..?!

Thank you again

How to quit the game?

Hi everyone,

I play this DOS-Version using DOSBox, however, the only manual I managed to obtain is for SEGA Mega Drive, which is cool for game interna (I do not know it from my childhood...), but I do not know how to quit the game without closing the DOSBox (sometimes called "Return to DOS").
I tried some key shortcuts I remember as commonly used, like ALT+X, STRG+Q, etc. but neither worked.

Does anyone know?

Thank you in advance!

Greetings,
Rattlehead
