TotalAnarchy [SOLD] at Gamesplanet

Spy Vs. Spy! Maybe the game won't become abandonware at all. After all, if you think about it: If you can make it in Germany and East Yorkshire (mind the emphasis!), you can make it anywhere

BeefontheBone - amongst other places, I'd imagine...

Spy Vs. Spy! No, you're absolutely right. I just guess that in some time - given the most unfortunate of scenarios - this game might start ranking as abandonware. Right now, however, it's not abandonware and that's just about it. After all it's sold in Germany and East Yorkshire! k:

BeefontheBone Nope, you got it right. If it's for sale, it's not abandoned.

Close it!

A. J. Raffles Well, but as far as I know it's not just about the game's status on the German market. Even if three years from now there was just one small store based in East Yorkshire which was still selling the game, we wouldn't be able to upload it. Or did I misunderstand something there?

Spy Vs. Spy! Well, it could mean something since there are a LOT of games from 2002 that are not experiencing this kind of last resort exploitation (and that's what actually happens to titles that are sold with magazines: M&M 4, Wizardry 7 - all of them are titles sold with mags and coming from developers who have indeed broken down or are just about to do so). I think that in case of "Warrior Kings" there is also a similar attempt at making some last chance money on the German market. Who knows... Well, anyways, the matter will definetly become clearer in about... 3 years.

A. J. Raffles Something like that doesn't really mean anything, I'm afraid. If the game only came out in 2002 and is still sold in several places, it's clearly anything but abandoned. Sorry.

Spy Vs. Spy! There's a PC games mag here in Germany which shipped and sold it's may issue with a full version of Warrior Kings included on the DVD-Rom, but I honestly don't know whether that's a hint at incoming abandonment, or just a sign of the publisher's healthy attempts to salvage an "old" title.

Your guesses?

The_Toad I have been searching all the local software/electronics vendors, none of them had it in stock, had the ability to order it, and most of them had never heard of them game. but thanks for the links, i didnt even think to start checking online.
