#BlakhOle# I downloaded Discworld, love the books, and other Terry Pratchett titles, just can't get that blasted sound for some reason. I read the write-up and it had a bit on sound where you had to run it through VDMsound and change the configuration to soundblaster pro, but it still didn't work. I'm not very good at sound programs and whatnot, so I ran through the configuration about a hundred times trying different combos of settings, but not one worked.
I also tried running through dosbox 0.65 (I'd been running it on XP just before), and I've got a vague idea of how it's supposed to work by what i read in the (very basic) instruction manual provided with VDMsound, but every time i try to get it to run, dosbox just crashes and closes. I tried the same with 0.63 and was rewarded with the same result.
I game itself works fine, but without the music or any sound to provide a sort of mood to the story it kinda degrades it a bit . If anyone knows whats wrong please help.
