Danny252 Bastards ain't censored? cool!

Danny252 aren't Ubisoft owned by activision or EA? or am I mixing them up? Because Maxis(The sims, Sim-wateva etc.) is owned by EA but releases its own games.
Damn Sierra... why did they shut down impressions? bloody bastards... one of the few GOOD games producers...

Stroggy What about Ubisoft?
they've been releasing a lot of games

anyway, back on topic.
Lucasarts (or whatever they are called nowadays) is stubborn.
I have found a few old lucasarts games in stores for low prices.

In defence of the new bunch, Sierra was all but dead before they took over. Now it is once again one of the big three (EA, Activision and Sierra).
Actually, Sierra has now been bought by VU games, the same lot who took over Lucasarts. VU came into the industry a few years ago and have been taking over as much as they can of it. They can do this because they are in other industries apart from computer games (e.g. water).

Kon-Tiki That's the new Sierra. The developers of the old adventure games don't mind talking 'bout them. They don't have an iron bar stuck up their ass. The new management of Sierra has, though. Kicked them all out, they did.

Fawfulhasfury I never knew Sierra was as bad as LucasArts.

Iron_Scarecrow They probably don't seem expensive to eccentric old fools. Some people pay a lot of money for rare stuff. I saw a really old childrens book in a book shop for $45. Aussie dollars that is. Even though half of the front cover was ripped some poor fool is going to buy it. Like I have said before, people are stange creatures.

The Niles Lucasarts does not have all the games on their site. Only a select few are on there but it is true that all of those are not available to people from outside the US (and maybe Canada). Some of their games are considered to be abandoned like Loom and the origional X-Wing (working on getting that one up someday) but most are not and they are very anal about their games. It's a pitty since most are still playable but most are not worth paying the kind of money they are asking ($20 for TIE Fighter for instance).
