One of my favorites since the C=64 version! When I changed the 64 to Amiga, got this game again, and notice the 64 sound was better, but the gfx was better on Amiga. The pc version is not bad, but I prefer the Commodore ones. I usually let go ahead my opponents, then I like to follow them, then beat in the end

Another one for my expanding collection - used to play this on the amiga, and I found it very hard, but eventually I managed to get quite far...Will give it another go!

Great game. Had this one on C64 originally so jut ahd to try it out on PC and im hooked. One thing though. What key is used for accelerating without boost? My Cursor up key seems to make my car reverse?? |

Stunt car racer was the ONLY racing game for C-64. It had everything. It was vector, it had the physics, the only game for C-64 that had the physics and gave you the sense of driving a real stunt car. There really isnt another racing game in the 80s. This is light year better than anything else made for C-64. It deserves not 5 but 10. This game toghether with Elite were the two game to have. Creator. |

Pelastajasankari, I feel you (in some aspects). I understand if the game is sacred to you and the rating of 3 you take as "plashphemy". However, we all must agree that this is the horrible wonderful world of criticism where all of us have our opinions. And reviews are reviews. You don't have to agree. Reviews just give a little hint of what the game is about. If you like it more than I did and you think it deserves more than 3, then vote for 5 and enjoy the game. It's not like the end of the world. Besides, 3 isn't that bad rating for a game after all. It could be 2 wich is much much worse. Peace, and pleasant driving. |
